Part-Time Human Resource Generalist - apx. 24 hours per week

Overview

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week. The HR Generalist will work closely with Management to provide structure, consistency and organization to general personnel practices. This position will report directly to the CEO and is required to in-person/onsite during normal working hours.

Must be proficient in Paylocity and be able to execute monthly payroll.

 

Responsibilities

  • The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Management
  • The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HRIS administration (Paylocity), recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefit administration, performance management and HR compliance reporting and file maintenance.
  • Works closely with Senior Leadership to design recruitment strategies, including preparing and entering job descriptions and postings; managing job postings and the recruitment and on-boarding process in the Paylocity HRIS system; scheduling interviews; preparing offer letters; conducting reference checks; final processing of on-boarding functions ensuring that HR transfer is complete and changes made and conducting new employee orientation
  • Subject matter expert I-9 compliance, new hire reporting and e-verify
  • Assists in the daily management of Paylocity and other module maintenance, including report preparation and module maintenance to ensure system feature utility is maximized and updated as needed
  • Assists in the on-boarding and enrollment of employees in health benefits and 401k plan (includes enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Assist in the management and processing of claims for FMLA and Workerโ€™s Compensation programs
  • Assists in the preparation of reports to support State and Federal filings as well as reports as requested for audit and other needs
  • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, and developing and organizing information
  • Maintain HR filing systems and applicant/employee logs
  • Updates to Paylocity as requested
  • All other additional clerical duties as assigned
